From January to May, 4 tons 263 kg of drugs and psychotropic substances were removed from illegal circulation. Their total value is estimated at 111.8 million AZN.

According to the State Commission on Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the seized drugs include 3.6 tons of cannabis, 212 kg of heroin, 88 kg of opium, and 214 kg of hashish.

Additionally, 4,486 methadone pills, 3,660 cannabis plants, and 29 psychotropic pills were discovered and confiscated.
