The suspect in the murder of Azerbaijani Fatima Karimova in Georgia, Emin Aliyev, has been arrested in Turkey.

The suspect in the murder of Azerbaijani Fatima Karimova in Georgia, Emin Aliyev, a resident of Aghjabadi, has been detained.

After the murder, Georgian police issued a wanted notice. Emin Aliyev was arrested by Turkish law enforcement.

Currently, procedures for his extradition to Georgia are underway.

Recall that 21-year-old Fatima had fled to Georgia with her boyfriend Kenan. Kenan tore up her passport and prevented her return. Fatima then sought help from her cousin Emin Aliyev. He went to Georgia, strangled Fatima, and fled to Turkey.
