The plan to smuggle over 32 kg of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan has been exposed. The State Border Service (DSX) reported that during border search and operational measures in the service area of the "Lankaran" border detachment of the Border Troops Command, a total of 32 kilograms 365 grams of narcotics (27 kg 65 g marijuana, 5 kg 300 g heroin) and 7,200 psychotropic Methadone M-40 pills were prevented from entering the country from Iran.
Operational-investigative measures on the fact are ongoing.
