The State Border Service (DSX) announced that six Nigerian nationals were detained while attempting to illegally cross the Azerbaijan-Georgia border.
The incident occurred in the area of the Zaqatala border detachment. The detained individuals are Nigerian citizens: Iguare Oliver Osagie (1980), Ogungbure Adesoji Austin (1986), Akinniyi Olamilekan Sunday (1992), Adele Moshood Adekunle (1994), King Tamarasinla Gloria (1997), and Ajala Oluvafemi Moses (1998).
Operational and investigative measures are ongoing.
