The trial of Khayala Ismayilova, Murad Baghirov, and Rasmiya Guliyeva, accused in a criminal case related to illegal activities at the "UGUR 777" aesthetic center, has begun.
At the Baku Heavy Crimes Court, presided over by judge Fakhri Mammadov, the defendants' personal details were confirmed.
The defense filed motions to return the case to preliminary investigation, but the court denied them.
The non-custodial preventive measure against the defendants remained unchanged, and the case was sent to trial.
The next hearing is scheduled for May 25.
In December last year, media reports triggered an investigation by the Prosecutor General's Office. It was found that the center operated illegally, performing aesthetic procedures without proper standards, and the suspects lacked medical education.
The case was initiated under Articles 131.2, 309.2, and 314.2 of the Criminal Code.
