Afgan Sadigov arrested on extortion charges. Binaqadi District Court ordered pretrial detention until July 30. Lawyer Nemat Karimli confirmed.

Afgan Sadigov, accused of extortion, has been arrested.

Lawyer Nemat Karimli told APA that the Binaqadi District Court ordered his detention until July 30.

He is charged under articles 182.2.1 and 182.2.4 of the Criminal Code.

Previously, he was fined and deported from Georgia for insulting a police officer on social media.
