On June 9, the Baku Appeal Court continued the hearing on appeals from Armenian citizens convicted for crimes against peace and humanity.
Defendants were provided with translators in Armenian and Russian, as well as lawyers.
Victims' representatives and prosecutors attended the session.
Previously requested documents were translated and provided.
The defense was given the floor, but several lawyers requested an adjournment to prepare.
After a break, Arayik Harutyunyan's lawyer requested acquittal.
The next hearing is scheduled for June 16.
