DSX foiled an attempt to smuggle 11.5 kg of marijuana from Iran to Azerbaijan using a drone. Border operation successful.

The State Border Service (DSX) prevented drug smuggling from Iran to Azerbaijan using a drone.

During border search and operational measures in the "Lankaran" border detachment area, a total of 11.5 kilograms of marijuana was seized.

The drugs were being transported via unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from Iran to Azerbaijan. Investigation is ongoing.
