An Azerbaijani citizen accused of fraud will be extradited from Ukraine to Azerbaijan.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, after a request was sent to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office and international documents were submitted, an agreement was reached on the extradition.
Shahlar Jabbarov is charged with repeated large-scale fraud in a criminal case investigated by the Nasimi District Police Department.
He was put on an international wanted list through the Interpol National Central Bureau after evading investigation. He was detained in Ukraine and measures are now being taken to bring him to Azerbaijan.
The Prosecutor General's Office continues close cooperation with foreign partners to locate and extradite wanted individuals.
