A preliminary court hearing has been held for Igor Lısenko, a suspect in a premeditated murder in Baku.
At the Baku Heavy Crimes Court, presided over by Judge Leyla Asgarova-Mammadova, the defendant's personal details were verified.
After a short deliberation, the court announced that the case would proceed to trial without changing the selected detention measure.
The first trial hearing is scheduled for July 8.
The incident occurred in the Khazar district, Shuvilan settlement. Preliminary investigations reveal that Igor Lısenko, born in 1982, stabbed and killed his acquaintance Ilgar Mammadov, born in 1973.
He has been charged under Article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code.
