Gobustan District Police Department conducted an operation against illegal drug trafficking.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, previously convicted Asad Musazade, 55, was detained.
Heroin, an illegally kept Makarov pistol, and cartridges were found on him.
A criminal case has been initiated, and he was arrested by court order. Investigation ongoing.
