In Absheron district, Eldar N. (born 1982) and his acquaintance Alim B. have been charged with home invasion.
The incident occurred in Fatmayi village. Eldar learned that the money from the sale of his unofficial wife Samira's father's property was kept in her uncle Elmir's house.
Together with Alim, he planned to raid Elmir's home. They wore gloves and masks, climbed a ladder to the second-floor balcony, and entered through a window.
Eldar attacked Rozaya, who was sleeping on the couch, with a knife, covering her mouth and injuring her. The noise woke the household, forcing the intruders to flee.
The court sentenced both defendants to 9 years in prison to be served in a general security penitentiary.
