Zulfugar Mansurov, the former deputy head of the State Service for Property Affairs under the Ministry of Economy, who was arrested along with former officials of the Garadagh District Executive Power, has been released from custody.
The decision was made by the Baku Court of Appeal during a session chaired by Judge Agil Musayev. The court overturned the extension of the detention measure, ordered Mansurov's release, and returned the criminal case to the preliminary investigation.
He was detained in November 2025 during an operation by the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General's Office at the Garadagh District Executive Power. The investigation accused him and others of bribery related to land plots.
