Elchin Guliyev, a former general who headed the Anti-Terror Center of the National Security Ministry (MTN), has been released after serving 10 years and 6 months in prison.

He completed his sentence under strict regime at Prison No. 9.

Guliyev was arrested in 2015 on charges of bribery, extortion, robbery, illegal imprisonment, and other serious crimes.
