A handyman has been arrested for stealing $6,000 in cash from a home in Baku's Binagadi district.
The Interior Ministry's Press Service reported that the suspect, 51-year-old G. Isgandarov, was identified and detained during police operations.
Investigation revealed that Isgandarov had been working as a handyman at the home, carrying out repairs.
In separate incidents in the same area, police also detained R. Huseynov, 48, and A. Abbasli, 21, suspected of stealing alcohol and tobacco products from two markets.
Investigations are ongoing.
