An 18-year-old in the US has confessed to killing his classmate over stolen headphones.
The murder occurred on May 24, 2023, outside the "Oliver Citywide Academy" special education school. The perpetrator was only 15 at the time.
Knowing his classmate always arrived early, the teen ambushed him with his mother's gun. He fired all bullets, then kicked the wounded victim, who later died at the hospital.
During interrogation, the teen said he killed the victim for taking his headphones two days earlier. When asked why he kicked the wounded victim, he laughed and said, "If you shoot someone, you must finish the job."
The final court decision will be announced on July 29. He faces 35 years to life in prison.
