The criminal investigation into Lala Huseynova and Elmir Nagiyev, accused of robbery against a citizen, has been completed.
According to Oxu.Az, a decision was announced at the Baku Court of Grave Crimes under Judge Huseyn Huseynli.
Prosecutor Valeh Alakbarov delivered an indictment, requesting a prison sentence of 8 years and 6 months for Lala Huseynova and 9 years for Elmir Nagiyev, along with their arrest in the courtroom.
After defense lawyers' statements, the defendants requested time from the court for closing arguments.
The next court session is scheduled for June 9.
They are charged under Articles 181.2.1 (robbery by a group of persons by prior conspiracy) and 181.2.5 (robbery with the use of weapons or objects used as weapons) of the Criminal Code.
