The next court hearing in the criminal case of Rashad Ilyasov and Narmin Fatullayeva, founders of "Joy Tour" and "Joy Travel" LLC, was held.
At the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, presided over by judge Elmin Rustamov, victims filed a motion for the arrest of the accused, citing unpaid damages.
The court partially granted the motion, changing Rashad Ilyasov's preventive measure, and he was arrested in the courtroom. The next hearing is scheduled for June 8.
The investigation revealed that they defrauded 40 people, embezzling 360,000 manats. Only a small portion of the damages has been compensated. Both are charged under Article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code.
