A Swiss court sentenced 43-year-old Marc Ribi to life imprisonment for murdering his wife, a former Miss Switzerland finalist, and disposing of her body in a blender.
Kristina Joksimovic, 38, was strangled after she asked for a divorce. Ribi then dismembered her body in the basement using a cutting tool, bleach, and a blender.
After the murder, he calmly took his children to a restaurant for dinner. Forensic experts rejected his self-defense claim.
The court also ordered Ribi to pay compensation to the victim's family.
