A man who attacked a school principal in Shamakhi has been sentenced. According to Oxu.Az, citing Qafqazinfo, the incident occurred at the secondary school named after A. Alxanov in the Sabir settlement.
Elkhan Aghayev, born in 1982, entered the school with his wife and attacked principal Gulnura Babashova, vandalizing her office and throwing a marker container at her, causing a head injury. He also used abusive language and disrupted the school's operations.
It was reported that Elkhan had previously applied to various authorities to get his wife a job as a technical worker at the school, but Babashova refused, citing his bad habits and aggressive nature. Upon learning this, the 44-year-old man attacked the school and confronted the principal.
The Shamakhi District Police Department opened a case under Article 221.3 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code, which was sent to court. The principal requested a severe punishment, but the court, considering that Elkhan committed a crime for the first time and has minor children, imposed a suspended sentence.
