Ibrahim Aliyev, who stabbed his roommate 16 times in a rented apartment in Baku, was sentenced to 7 years, 10 months, and 15 days in prison.
The verdict was delivered by judge Roman Alakbarov at the Baku Heavy Crimes Court.
Previously convicted, Aliyev argued with the victim over sports equipment and loud TikTok videos. The victim asked him to lower the volume, leading to a physical fight in which Aliyev stabbed him 16 times.
