The Main Drug Enforcement Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has conducted an operation to prevent drug sales.
In Baku and surrounding areas, previously convicted Anar Asadov, 41, and Taleh Muradov, 30, were detained.
From them, 42 kg 690 g of marijuana mixed with harmful substances and 460 methadone pills were seized.
The detainees worked as drug couriers in Baku and Sumgait.
Criminal cases have been initiated, and a pre-trial detention measure was chosen by court decision.
