A 35-year-old woman, Paris Wilson, has been found guilty of helping a drug dealer murder her ex-husband, Danny Kahalain, over a £120,000 debt. In exchange, she was promised money and an all-inclusive holiday to Turkey.
According to the Daily Mail, in February 2025, two men entered Kahalain's flat in Plymouth and poured sulfuric acid on him. The victim suffered severe burns and lost one eye. Despite multiple skin grafts, he died in hospital.
The murder was planned with Wilson's involvement. Kahalain owed a large sum to drug dealer Rayan Kennedy, known as 'Frost'. Kennedy approached Wilson, who agreed to assist in the murder in return for a cash reward and a fully paid trip to Turkey.
About a month before the attack, the criminals attempted to kidnap Kahalain. After dropping his daughter with Wilson, they tried to forcibly remove him from his car, but failed. On the night of the acid attack, the young girl was in the next room of her father's house.
During the trial, Wilson admitted collaborating with the criminals but claimed she did not want her ex-husband dead. However, the jury found her guilty of murder. The leader of Kennedy's gang is currently on the run in Dubai. The sentencing date for Wilson and other participants is yet to be announced.
