The trial of Huseyn Jafarov, accused of stabbing a man who tried to protect his neighbor from a thief, has concluded in Baku.
The prosecutor demanded 11 years in prison for Jafarov.
The next hearing is set for June 18. The defense requested time to present additional evidence.
In November 2014, Namig Hanifa was fatally stabbed while confronting Jafarov, who was attempting to burglarize a neighbor's home.
