Over 44,000 illegal drugs seized

State Customs Committee seizes over 44,000 illegally imported medicines in Sumgait operation. 251 types of drugs found unregistered.

Over 44,000 illegal drugs seized

The State Customs Committee has prevented the sale of a large quantity of illegally imported medicines.

In Sumgait, 44,335 units of medicines were discovered in a pharmacy warehouse and a truck.

The medicines, consisting of 251 types, were not registered with the state.

An investigation is underway.
