In Sabunchu district, 6 tons of metal equipment worth 8,000 manats were stolen from a facility.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police identified and detained the suspect.
The 33-year-old T. Azimov, previously convicted for theft, stole the equipment piece by piece from his workplace and sold it to scrap metal collection points.
Investigation is ongoing.
