The Water Transport Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted an operation in Hovsan, seizing a large amount of narcotics.

According to Oxu.Az, operational information was received about drug sales on Gum Island in Hovsan. Previously convicted Vugar Tahirov was arrested, and marijuana was found on him.

Investigation is ongoing. Water police have intensified control along the Caspian Sea and other water basins.
