A family dispute turned violent in Baku's Yasamal district, leaving a 62-year-old man seriously injured.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the New Yasamal settlement. The man argued with his wife, who then struck him multiple times with an axe.
The victim suffered heavy blows to the face, arms, and back. Their son intervened and took the axe away.
The injured man was rushed to the Clinical Medical Center in critical condition and is undergoing surgery. Police are investigating.
