A dispute in Kurdamir ended in bloodshed. According to Oxu.Az citing Mətbuat.az, a man killed his wife in the Kurdamir district.
The incident occurred on Koroglu Street in the district. During a family conflict, husband Natiq Araz oglu Bashirov killed his wife, 21-year-old Lamiya Ismayil qizi Bashirova. Law enforcement officers were called to the scene.
The woman's body was removed and handed over to the relevant authorities. Natiq Bashirov, suspected of committing the crime, was detained by police officers.
The couple married in 2024 and had a 1.5-year-old child. The Kurdamir District Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the incident.
