Turkey has proposed a $1.2 billion pipeline project to NATO to deliver military fuel to the Alliance's eastern flank partners.
The Ministry of National Defense stated that the initiative is five times more efficient than existing alternatives and can be realized quickly if approved.
The project will enhance NATO's fuel supply capabilities and reduce dependence on maritime routes.
Additionally, German-supplied Patriot air defense systems will be installed in June and remain active for about six months.
The ministry also noted that Syrian and Libyan armed forces participated in the EFES-2026 exercises, and Ankara supports a unified Libya and the reconstruction of Syria.
Regarding Gaza, the ministry condemned the interception of humanitarian aid ships by Israeli forces as piracy and demanded the immediate release of detainees.
